Contract Killer

It snowed another 5 inches last night. A perfect white coating to this town. Makes my occasional glance out the cell, er, i mean window, that much better. Sitting down for some contracts today. The class is my hardest. The material is so dry. Our Prof is nationally respected and he has a way to make the most complex issues sound easy. Sound is one thing but applying it is another. Its like telling someone how to make creme brulee. Not the easiest thing im guessing.

Back to the books for me. Where is my friendly caffeine dealer?

Dude, I've got some bad news for you: If you think contracts is dry, wait until you find yourself one fine day a year or two hence unable to freakin' blink because your corporations case book has leaped up and sucked every molecule of moisture from the surface of your eyeballs. I promise you that you'll be lookingback on the halcyon days of UCC 2-207 with stone cold nostalgia.

And if by some weird alignment of the stars you find tat Corporations actually turns your crank, well...some other class is going to be the one that dessicates your corneas and leaves you longing for the comforting bosom of promissory estoppel.

And while I am at it (here on a quick stretch break at almost 6 am after grinding away at a paper for the past 10 hours (only four or five left to go before it is finished..), PLEASE tell me you aren't studyng even half as much as you say you are now during the semester. Marathon deathmarches before finals make you strong, but if you are doing this crap during the rest of the year, you need to loosen the heck up.

Good luck, and think back on this when your ass is glued to a chair and you are praying for a cerebral embolism three or four semester from now...
