I did something today that i've never done before. At first it was hard, and I wasnt sure i could go through with it. Against better judgment, I did it anyway. I doubt anyone will find out, but i wanted to vent about it here because i feel guilty. All interested parties gave consent, and im pretty sure its not a crime in this jurisdiction. Sometimes you just have to give way in the heat of the moment.
I voted Republican.

Yes!!!!!! I knew you could do it. Now are you ready to apologize for hiding my absentee ballot from me 2 years ago?????
I am glad you finally came out of the political closet. And to announce it on your blog!! I am proud of you!!!!
It was a tough choice between the candidates, but one clearly had goals outlined that i could more readily identify with.
Thost eyes dont deceive ye. Whilst ye make the same choice if the right candidate is democratic in 08?
Abogada, I dont make apologies for hiding the ballot. I was not of sound mind as a hot cheerleader had clouded my thoughts during that time period.
Nothing wrong with that Tink. However, I think Abazaba's glee is a bit premature. Despite popular rhetoric espoused by both parties, it is okay to vote across your party lines.
For example, I consistently support Democratic domestic social/economic issues, but take a dramatically more conservative stance concerning national security/defense initiatives.
I would posit that one who votes strictly within their political affiliation is probably not a well informed or discerning individual when it comes to political discourse in the United States.
